WWE Network Watch Log

Last night, the feature was Macho Man Randy Savage. This has become my new project.

1. Tuesday Night Titans Episode 42: July 19th, 1985.

2. Wrestlemania XII: Macho Man vs. Ultimate Warrior (Retirement Match)

The Tuesday Night Titans was purely awesome. It was Randy Savage fresh out of the territory he was working in, coming into the WWF for the first time. Billed as "the biggest free agent" out there, having managers like Fuji, Freddie Blassie, Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart all clamoring for his services.

He cut a promo of foreshadowing - almost amazing to hear the words he said. He said he was going to be the greatest; even 1000 years into the future. He said he was going to take the World Heavyweight Title belt from Hulk Hogan and gave his first mention of 'Macho Madness'.

Then he beat some poor jobber named Aldo Marino....

After that bad finish on WWE Battleground PPV, I had to see something a little better. This guy had a pretty good listing of his best matches of the year - so I decided to go with Neville vs. Finn Balor from NXT Takeover: Rival.
